Our subject intent
Is to equip our pupils with a range of creative media skills and provide opportunities to develop, in context, desirable, transferable skills such as research, planning, and review, working with others and communicating creative concepts effectively. Through the use of these skills, these pupils will ultimately be creating fit-for-purpose media products.
Curriculum Subject Offer
Year 7
Subject intent
Is to provide all students with the basic transferrable skills required to access different subjects. We will prepare students for the use of and application of computers and we intend to build confident, independent and successful learners who have an ongoing curiosity for ICT & Computer Science beyond Queen Elizabeth School.
During Year 7 you will learn:
How to stay safe online, looking at your digital footprint and hwat you need to put in place to protect yourself. There will be focus on desktop publishing codeing and presetning of work to better support other subjects in the school.
