Maths | We take year 8 pupils out on a trip to Ludlow Race Course where pupils are given a focus on numeracy and literacy outside of the classroom. This is delivered through the "Racing to School" charity on the racecourse. What extends this more practically is that each visit is on an active race day so pupils see the impact first hand. PSHE | Dying 2 Drive is a scheme for year 11s and a link we have made with Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service's Saving More Lives vision. We have included this to help keep pupils safe and to be aware of the risks they may encounter when starting to drive. PSHE | We have tight links with the police making sure our pupils stay as safe as possible and are aware of what they could encounter. The police visit at various times in the year to give talks on: Knife Crime Drugs and Alcohol Sexting |
